Samarth vocational rehabilitation unit became functional in the month of September 2016 at AMRITA school premises. In this unit a job oriented two years (approximately) DATA ENTRY Computer training has started.To provide sustainable livelihood to the adolescents and adults with intellectual disability ,(IQ -below 65) having no capacity to go through formal education .
BENEFITS OF TRAINING
- The persons with intellectual disability will became financially independent to some extent.
- Their self - confidence will improve and they will become productive members of the family and society.
- Overall attitude of the society towards these individuals shall become positive.
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
- Persons with intellectual disability (Mental Retardation).
- IQ between 45 to 65.
- Age 16 yrs and above.
